About this report

This ESG microsite shows our progress in 2025. It supplements the Group Sustainability Report voluntarily prepared in accordance with the CSRD last year. We will be required to report under EU regulations from 2027 onwards.

Reporting period and boundaries: Unless otherwise indicated, the information presented relates to the Telefónica Deutschland Group. The reporting period covers the fiscal year 2025.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): The CSRD data points published in the KPI tool were collected in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and verified by an independent auditor in accordance with ISAE 3000 (Revised) with limited assurance. The energy and CO₂ data, as well as the underlying calculations, were audited by AENOR INTERNACIONAL, S.A.U. The KPI tool also includes other KPIs that were collected with the same diligence due to external requirements, standards, or ratings, but were not verified by auditors. These are marked with an asterisk.

Methodological notes (definitions, calculation logics, consolidated scope, e.g., scope delimitations for emissions) are documented in the footnotes of the KPI tool. Changes to methods, definitions, or consolidation scopes, as well as adjustments to prior-year figures, are explained transparently in a note.

Key dates and governance: Data collection is supported by internal control processes. The key date for the final data was the completion of the external audit on February 18, 2026.

Format and availability: The content is provided digitally: as an ESG Factbook and via our ESG microsite with an interactive metrics tool for verified KPIs and with a three-year history.
